Wood and Metal: Texture and Contrast

There’s something about the texture of steel and wood that fascinates me; the intricacies of wood grain combined with the cold hues of metal is one of those juxtapositions that speaks to me, I guess. I do tend to like pictures of old up against new, or warm wood colors contrasting with the silver, grey, black, and pewter of metal.
