Another photograph taken on the streets of Reykjavik. While walking up from the harbor through neighborhoods of apartments, houses, and stores, I glanced to my left, and serendipitously discovered a short cement tunnel, leading into a courtyard.
But the walls of the tunnel, it turns out, were covered in glorious hand-painted murals which, as far as I know, will never otherwise see the light of day. I have no idea who painted these wonderful images, and there was no way to get enough physical distance from any of them to photograph their full dimensions, since the tunnel is so narrow.
